Ranking Points

Season Ranking Rules

  1. To guarantee a ranking that can be compared on a worldwide stage, only "Championship" results can be entered into the Taekwondodata (therefore excluding continental "Games").
  2. Each participant who starts at such a championship receives a certain amount of points for their participation (kwon as Tournament Points). Through this each fighter will be recorded into the Ranking. Fighters who achieve medal positions will receive a higher number of points (for more information please follow the Point-System link).
  3. In order that each success influences the ranking position, each fight win will be awarded with additional points (Fight Points). Therefore each victory will have a positive affect on the fighters ranking position (for more information please follow the Point-System link).

We request that anyone in possession of old Pool Lists, newspaper reports or similar, to contact Taekwondodata with the information. Thank you!
